Installation Message
Brothers & Sisters,
I am honored to have been elected to lead the Grand Lodge of Ohio for the 25-26 Lodge year. The last two years on the Executive Board has been a great tool to prepare me for being your Grand Master. I have had the privledge to work with some amazing Odd Fellows and learn from the best.
This year, my objectives as Grand Master is three fold. First, to promote harmony and growth across the State of Ohio by establishing a communication committee to bring lodges across the state together and working with each other. I hope to accomplish this by selecting a committee made up of people all across Ohio to participate in the building and improving our website, starting a bi-monthly news letter, bringing information about Odd Fellowship in our State and around the country to the local lodges and members.
Second, to develop programs at the Grand Lodge level that can help our local lodges in ways that will aid them in promoting growth and sustainability within their own lodge. I believe that the number one reason the Grand Lodge is here, is to aid our lodges in any way that promotes the sustainability of the Order.
Third, to bring our Grand Lodge into the 21st century, ushering in technology and restructuring our order to accommodate for the new generations who will inherit our order as we did from our forefathers. Change is not always easy, but regardless, it has to happen eventually or the Order will cease to exist. We owe it to the forefathers of almost 200 years in Ohio to hand down our traditions, and build a membership that will survive another 200 years.
While working on these three goals, I hope to work closely with the local lodges, promote the interest of younger members getting involved with the Grand Lodge and work closely with my counterpart at the Rebekah Assembly to accomplish these goals.
If you have an idea, or your feel that you could be a part of accomplishing my goals, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me. Always remembers our lodge is about brotherhood and sisterhood and together we can accomplish great things.

Dear Brothers & Sisters,
I bring you the holiday greetings of the Grand Lodge of Ohio and my own personal greetings and wishes of great joy and happiness to all our members and their families across the state. This time of year is special for all of us, a time that we get to truly enjoy being the giving, loving and caring individuals that we all are. I hope we can all take a pause from the holiday hustle bustle to reflect on the many blessings our Heavenly Father has bestowed upon us throughout the year.
In the spirit of Christmas, we are reminded of the greatest gift ever given—the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. His life and teachings exemplify the very principles we hold dear as Odd Fellows: to love one another, to bear each other’s burdens, and to strive always to bring light into the world.
As Brothers and Sisters of our noble Order, may we carry the message of peace, hope and goodwill beyond our lodges and into our communities. Let our acts of kindness be a testament to our faith and our commitment to Friendship, Love, and Truth. Whether through visiting the sick, comforting the grieving, or extending help to those in need, we serve God best by serving others. Let’s be sure to keep all those members and their families who are sick or in distress in our daily prayers and reach out to members who you haven’t seen in a while. Let them know you are thinking of them this holiday season and that their presence is missed. The difference a phone call can make is unmeasurable.
May this holy season bring you joy, warmth, and the embrace of loved ones. And as we look forward to a new year, may the Lord continue to bless the work of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows in our home lodges, throughout Ohio and throughout the world, guiding our hands and hearts in unity and service to our fellow man.
